Although Chef Dave did not grow up in the kitchen or have an early interest in cooking, food has always been there in the best parts of his life. Chef Dave’s culinary journey began 15 years ago in the heart of LA. It grew to become a fiery love affair that has taken him from some of the best kitchens right here in LA to working with mind-blowing chefs in the UK, Germany, and NYC, to name a few spots where he has cut his teeth. Chef Dave has been dubbed “Culinary Innovator” and “Prince of Plant Food” by the media, but what he calls himself is a cook—one who cooks with heart and soul, putting all he has on the plate. The cuisine he presents represents his long-studied and passionately executed Mediterranean flair, which is a big part of what he is known for and, more importantly, a taste of the love story he tells with his food.
